This wine has been 3 years in the making. Old word restrained fruit, meets the rich, complex  character of the New World. Extended barrel aging has softened the ripeness and smoothed the tannins.  The color, dark cherry tinged with magenta on the lip. The nose is restrained cassis and currant, leading the dark cherry and plum. The finish is complex; ever changing from sip to sip.
