This wine is called the Dark Side for a reason, its very sexy color...dark, dark plum with a ruby tinged lip.  The nose is rich toasty, chocolaty cherries on the nose. Sensuous on the palate, this fruit has amazing weight, not your expected heavy oak tannin but more elegant tannin imparted from the thick fruit skins; so as it boldly rolls across your tongue you'll note the blueberries, moving into the dark rich cherry and plum. The finish is strong with this one!
