Mercury Wine Club members traveled from across the country for a weekend-long PARTY, culminating in an afternoon of wine blending in the beautiful Alexander Valley; 50 winemaking teams competed to get their name on the 13th incarnation of THE CRU Blend.

Congrats to this year’s winners, Doug & Patty, who affectionately call their blend “Patty O’ Wine” This wine has a rich garnet color, with a velvety cherry nose. The palate starts with bright, juicy cherries that lead to rich, dark plum & blackberries through the finish, joined by some subtle tannins giving this wine wonderful structure.
