2018 ELEMENT - Alexander Valley Mourvédre - $59

Mourvédre is also known as Monastrell & Mataro and is the “m” in rhone-style GSm blends

Deep Ruby in color, with subtle plum and violet on the nose. On the palate, earthy, stewed raspberries and plum work their way from front to back, where cherries and hints of blueberries join in on the finish, complemented by good tannic structure.

2017 Mercurio - Amador County Tempranillo - $49

This Tempanillo greets your nose with dark cacao, leather and fig notes.

Rich and luscious on the mid, with fig, plum and cherries dancing along your tongue to the finish that combines all the flavors together, with a pop of bright cherry and a hint of earth that lingers…

Comparable to a Spanish reserva, this wine is a truly elegant expression of what American Tempranillo can be.

2018 Heavy Metal - Alexander Valley Petit Verdot - $59

The color is, as expected, dark and deep... telling you exactly how this wine is going to smell, taste and feel. This vintage has a dark ruby hue. On the nose, intense dark cherry and dried plums mingle with a hint of vanilla. The cherries are on the palate as well, then joined by stewed plums and cacao... then on the finish, sticking with the dark side of things, you get dusty spice and plum that bring out the classic Petit Verdot tannin and structure... Rock On!

Father 2016.png

2016 Father - Alexander Valley Cabernet Franc - $75

The Father has a nose of rich creme brûlée.

On the palate, it is bright cherry followed by dark black cherry through the mid and into the finish that is long and elegant… elegance and balance from beginning to end.
