This is my first vineyard desigante wine, thank you Mike & Carol Pigoni.

When I think of Syrah, I think of the Northern Rhone, specifically Gigondas, where 100% Syrah is king. The color is dark ruby. The nose is rich cherries with hints of vanilla and cassis, so supple as the cherries run from the front to the back along with a touch of vanilla and bittersweet cocoa through the finish.
